Catherine Baron exclusively practices family law. She understands that each client has a unique case and seeks to help protect what is most important to them. She believes in giving practical results-based advice so clients understand every step of the process. Catherine focuses on a flexible approach, working with clients to create solutions that work for their individual needs. As a trained mediator, Catherine believes that negotiation and settlement can reduce costs and produce positive results. However, sometimes conflict is unavoidable and she does not hesitate to go to court to ensure her client’s full rights or the wellbeing of children. She has long delighted in standing up to bullies.
Catherine also believes in the importance of legal services to the community. She has been a member of the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas since 2014, was a recipient of a Judge Covington Pro Bono Award in 2016, and serves on the board of the Travis County Women Lawyers Foundation.
Catherine loves stories and travel. Having lived abroad in both New Zealand and Turkey, she takes every opportunity to see the world and all it has to offer. Locally, she enjoys the Austin food scene and reading outside.
